Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Spring, TX is seeking a Veterinary Technician Trainer actively employed as a Vet Tech Level III, IV, or VTS to support on-site staff training across one or more hospitals.

The trainer will document participation and results, provide feedback to leadership, and implement continuing education and new training programs to elevate patient care within our hospitals.

Qualifications

• Maintain RVT/LVT/CVT in accordance with state laws.
• High School Diploma required.
• Possession of Vet Technician skill level III or greater required. Previous BluePearl Vet Technician (IV or VTS) preferred.
• Demonstrated capacity to deliver effective training; supervisory/education background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate staff training for technicians and assistants within assigned hospital(s).
• Document staff training participation and results; provide reports to management.
• Ensure staff has adequate continuing education opportunities.
• Assist in implementing new training programs as required across hospitals.
• Collaborate with the national Technician Trainer to develop programs and content.
