Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Manhattan seeks a Veterinary Technician Trainer to support the Midtown and Downtown hospitals with hands-on clinical training and staff development. The role requires active RVT/LVT/CVT certification and collaboration with Training Coordinators to deliver programs.

Stepping into this position, you will mentor technicians at various career stages, shape training plans with local teams, and lead new program implementations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capacity to deliver effective training.
• Previous supervisory capacity or background in education preferred.
• Previous experience as a BluePearl Veterinary Technician (VTS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on clinical training and development across Midtown and Downtown hospitals.
• Collaborate with Training Coordinators to develop training programs and coach associates at all career stages.
• Align with local teams and line manager to build flexible market training schedules, including limited remote work.
• Support a variety of specialties and locations across the market.
• Design and deliver CE and hands-on skills labs, simulators, and didactic lectures.
• Partner with medical leadership to implement quality guidelines and standards into training curriculums.
