BluePearl Pet Hospital in NYC seeks a Veterinary Technical Trainer to develop and elevate our nursing team across four NYC hospitals: Midtown, Downtown, Brooklyn, and Queens. This role blends hands-on clinical training with strategic collaboration to advance patient care and staff competency.

Qualifications

• Must hold RVT/LVT/CVT credential as per state laws.
• High School Diploma required.
• Demonstrated capacity to deliver effective training and potential supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency in departmental nursing competencies while actively working in a hands-on clinical technician role.
• Lead and facilitate training for veterinary technicians and assistants across assigned hospitals.
• Ensure team members complete required continuing education and maintain ongoing skill development.
• Implement new company-wide and global training initiatives within the hospitals.
• Elevate patient care standards through education, mentorship, and hands-on coaching.
• Foster collaboration and communication between technicians, assistants, and hospital leadership.
• Track, document, and report staff training progress with accountability.
• Partner with the National Technician Trainer to support development of new training programs and content.
