Qualifications

• 1+ years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience.
• Proficiency in patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring.
• Surgical assistance, aseptic technique, and patient handling/restraint.
• Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and medication administration.
• Radiology positioning, laboratory sample collection, and in-house diagnostics.
• Accurate medical record documentation and client education/communication.
• Strong critical thinking, multitasking, teamwork, and commitment to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Assist in surgery.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately.
• Identify patient concerns and support efficient case management across the hospital.
• Build strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service.
