Job description

Kings Trail Animal Hospital is seeking a Lead Veterinary Technician to join our growing team! This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician looking to step into a leadership role within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the veterinary assistant/technician team
  • Assist with inpatient and outpatient care, exam room support, anesthesia monitoring, and surgical procedures
  • Delegate daily workflow and maintain medical and safety standards
  • Mentor and coach team members to foster a positive team culture
Schedule
  • Full‑time position
  • Flexible scheduling options
  • Availability needed Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays
Benefits and Compensation
  • Compensation: $22‑25 per hour, for each hour worked
  • Bonus package: $500‑$2,000 based on experience and licensure
  • Continuing Education allowance: Up to $1,000 annually based on licensure

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with:
    • Anesthesia induction and monitoring
    • Dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs
    • IV catheter placement and IV/IM injections
    • Cystocentesis
    • Microscopic evaluation
