Qualifications

• 5+ years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience preferred
• Proficiency in patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring
• Experience with anesthesia induction, monitoring and recovery
• Surgical assistance and aseptic technique
• Dental prophylaxis and radiography
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Radiology positioning and safety protocols
• Medication administration and accuracy in dosing
• Lab sample collection and in-house diagnostics

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
• Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Assist in surgery
• Perform dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography
• Maintain accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
• Review treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly
• Identify patient concerns and support efficient case management across the hospital
• Build strong client relationships through education and attentive service
