BluePearl Pet Hospital in Spring, TX is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team! At BluePearl Pet Hospital, the role of Veterinary Technician is an exciting, fast-paced opportunity that allows you to utilize and expand your skills while working alongside talented veterinary professionals.

Responsibilities

1. Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia in patients using anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
2. Understand normal ranges of vital signs, including heart and respiratory rate, temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
3. Obtain and interpret blood pressure and other vital signs, alerting Veterinarian to changes.
4. Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
5. Calculate medical math, including infusion rates, and administer medications appropriately.
6. Perform phlebotomy and place intravenous catheters.
7. Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters.
8. Mentor and train other team members.
9. Address client concerns with patience and empathy.
