At BluePearl Pet Hospital, the role of Veterinary Technician is an exciting, fast-paced opportunity that allows you to utilize and expand your skills while working alongside talented veterinary professionals.

1. Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia in patients, using anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
2. Understand normal ranges of vital signs, including heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
3. Obtain and interpret vital signs; alert Veterinarian to any changes or issues.
4. Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
5. Perform medical math calculations, including infusions, and administer medications appropriately.
6. Proficiently perform phlebotomy and place intravenous catheters.
7. Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters.
8. Mentor and train colleagues with patience and empathy to address client concerns.
