Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant – SAGE Dublin

Compensation

• Registered veterinary technician: $30‑$40 per hour
• Senior veterinary assistant: $26‑$34 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in oncology procedures and treatments.
• Monitor patients during chemotherapy and radiation therapy sessions.
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their owners.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and prepare samples for analysis.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with protocols.

Work Schedule

• Full‑time with flexibility for scheduling Monday‑Saturday.

Basic Required Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 3+ years clinical experience in the veterinary industry; RVT license preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface with staff and clients with tact, patience, professional courtesy, and confidentiality.
• Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates.
• Must obtain or maintain California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP) within 60 days of hire, or waive if holding a valid CA‑RVT license.
