BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician Manager to lead and inspire a team of veterinary professionals. The role emphasizes mentoring, advanced clinical skills, and strong communication to drive excellence in patient care.

You will partner with hospital leadership, coach staff, schedule ongoing training, and implement process improvements while maintaining high standards of care and teamwork across the hospital.

• Leadership experience in a veterinary setting
• Ability to train and mentor staff
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate highly advanced proficiency as a Veterinary Technician within their department.
• Create effective working relationships with hospital leadership to ensure standards of care are understood and delivered.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert and resource to Technicians and Assistants regarding daily operations, patient care, and skill development.
• Mentor staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution to create effective working relationships.
• Coach staff to create a culture of strong performance and high productivity.
• Clearly communicate with team members to ensure understanding of new ideas, changes in protocol and policies.
• Build positive relationships across the hospital and administration to facilitate teamwork.
• Implement process improvement initiatives.
• Schedule ongoing training with the Technician Training Manager.
• Document performance-related issues, assess staff during annual reviews, and provide leadership with recommendations.
• Other duties as assigned
