• Must be a Veterinary Technician or Advanced Patient Care Associate.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate highly advanced proficiency as a Veterinary Technician within their department and maintain related skills.
• Create effective working relationships with hospital leadership to ensure standards of care are understood and delivered.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert and resource to Technicians and Assistants regarding daily operations and skill development.
• Mentor staff by demonstrating positive work habits, clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Identify conflicts and seek resolution to foster teamwork and productivity.
• Coach staff to build a culture of strong performance and high productivity.
• Communicate changes in protocol, policies, and processes clearly to the team.
• Collaborate with hospital teams to support patient care and teamwork.
