Job summary

Heart of Chelsea Veterinary Group in New York, NY, part of the Suveto network, seeks a full-time Veterinary Technician (LVT). Applicants must hold a current NYS license or be eligible to sit for VTNE.

Responsibilities include client communication, nursing care, anesthesia monitoring, phlebotomy, radiography, and records management. Schedule includes evenings and weekends with location flexibility across Heart of Chelsea sites.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Veterinary Technician license (or eligibility to sit VTNE).
• Experience in a general practice or emergency setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
• Perform diagnostic tests and laboratory work.

• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
