Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills (IV catheter placement, venipuncture, premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient prep, surgical nursing, perioperative care, dental prophylaxis, radiographs).
• Passionate about learning and animal care.
• You understand healthy hospital culture and enjoy working with a like-minded team.
• Previous leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in daily patient care and treatment.
• Train and support new and existing technicians and assistants.
• Develop, implement, and maintain clinical protocols and SOPs.
• Support consistent hospital workflows and improve daily efficiency.
• Coordinate technician schedules and daily staffing needs.
• Provide team encouragement, coaching, and feedback.
• Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins with team members.
• Partner with hospital leadership to identify opportunities for improvement.
