Job summary

Spanaway Veterinary Clinic in Spanaway, WA is searching for a credentialed Veterinary Technician to add to our growing team. You will work alongside four full-time doctors in a fast-paced practice.

We foster a family-like culture, provide mentorship, and use state-of-the-art equipment for advanced care. Schedule is Monday–Saturday, 7am–6:30pm, with no nights, on-call, or Sundays.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills in anesthesia and nursing.
• Ability to perform radiographs, dental prophylaxis, and perioperative care.
• Committed to learning and maintaining a positive hospital culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors with treatments and procedures across a fast-paced clinic.
• Place IV catheters and monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and radiographs; support perioperative care.
• Prepare patients and collaborate with the team to ensure quality care.
• Maintain a positive, collaborative hospital environment.

Spanaway Veterinary Clinic in Spanaway, WA is searching for a credentialed Veterinary Technician to add to our growing team!

Our hospital has 4 full-time doctors. We are open Monday-Saturday. We are a fast paced clinic who sees a mixture of dogs, cats, and exotics.Our doctors, support staff and managers all work together to provide the most comprehensive care and customer service for our patients, clients and the referring veterinary community.

About You:

• Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills (to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, and perioperative nursing care, dental prophylactics, radiographs, etc.)
• Passionate about learning and caring for animals
• You understand the importance of maintaining a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value.

Anticipated Schedule:

• Monday – Saturday
• Business hours of 7am-6:30pm, no nights, no on-call, no Sundays
• Closed on major holidays
