Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician in Washington, DC’s historic Eastern Market area. You’ll support surgery, anesthesia monitoring, and diagnostic lab work as part of a collaborative medical team at an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital.

You’ll mentor teammates, educate clients, and uphold high standards of care while advancing your credentials through continuing education and network resources. Join a growing national veterinary network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• Current state veterinary technician license (LVT) in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care including administering treatments and monitoring anesthesia.
• Guide and mentor medical team to ensure efficient workflow and skill development.
• Educate clients on treatments and review medical records.
