Job summary
Mission Pet Health is hiring a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our network of hospitals. You will provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work, while guiding the medical team and supporting client education.
The role requires a state license, AVMA-accredited education, and experience in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and lab procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
- Calm and efficient under fast-paced or stressful situations.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
- One year of experience in the veterinary industry preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
- Lead and mentor the medical team to ensure efficient workflow and growth.
- Educate clients on treatments, review medical records, and answer questions confidently.
- Contribute to a positive hospital culture through training and feedback.
