Job summary
Mission Pet Health is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a network-backed local hospital. You will provide comprehensive patient care, administer treatments, monitor anesthesia, and perform lab work as part of a collaborative medical team.
You'll mentor teammates, educate clients on treatments, review medical records, and help maintain high hospital standards. A strong communication style and AVMA-accredited program graduate with active state license are required, with 1 year
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
- Calm and efficient under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration with team and clients.
- One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
- Lead and mentor the medical team to ensure efficient workflow and growth.
- Educate clients on treatments, review medical records, and answer questions confidently.
