Job summary

VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our ICU team in Mesa, AZ. Location: 1648 N Country Club Dr, Mesa, AZ 85201. Schedule: Full-Time, Thursday to Saturday, 7 am–7 pm (3 days). Salary: $24–$30 per hour.

You will support ICU care with venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, lab work and more, delivering compassionate care to hospitalized patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Venipuncture and catheter placements as part of ICU care.
• Radiology imaging support and anesthesia monitoring during procedures.
• Perform physical exams, patient assessment and vital sign monitoring.
• Assist surgical procedures and prep and postoperative support.
• Dentistry, laboratory work and pharmacy tasks as required.
• Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients and participate in recovery and discharge planning.
