VCA El Mirage Animal Hospital in Surprise, AZ is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our full-time team. You will support doctors and technicians, perform routine tasks, and ensure high-quality client service in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, embraces compassionate care for pets, and uses your credentialing knowledge to assist with exams, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, radiology, and patient recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assist with physical examinations and patient assessment.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures and provide recovery support.

• Obtain venipuncture samples and place catheters when required.
• Support pharmacy duties and client communication with empathy.
