Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree a plus.
• CVT, RVT, or LVT certification preferred and active.
• 1+ year of veterinary hospital experience.
• Ability to work onsite with animals in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination, treatment, and monitoring under a veterinarian’s supervision.
• Prepare and analyze laboratory samples and record findings.
• Assist in surgical procedures and provide post-operative care.
• Educate clients about wellness plans, nutrition, and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate medical charting and hospital records.
• Assist in managing hospital supplies and inventory.
• Support day-to-day hospital operations and patient flow.
