The Veterinary Technician will provide technical support and nursing care in the Emergency and Critical Care Service (ECC) at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. This role involves supervising and instructing veterinary students and technicians, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and assisting in emergency situations.
This position may require working evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. It involves physical activity, animal handling, exposure to animal waste, and potential hazards from chemicals and anesthetic gases.
Successful completion or current enrollment in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program.
