Job summary

Lovet Pet Health Care is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our growing animal hospital in Glendale, CA. You will assist the doctor with medical procedures, including surgery, while providing high quality care to pets and excellent client service.

The role offers flexible 4–10 hour shifts, Sundays closed, PTO, holidays, and benefits including health/Dental/Vision, HSA, and growth opportunities. Prior certification preferred; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Assist the doctor with medical procedures, including surgery, under supervision.
• Provide high quality care to all pets and deliver WOW service to clients.
• Under supervision, assist in anesthesia and post-operative care.
• Maintain medical records with practice management software.
• Assist with cleaning and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgery care and pre-anesthetic protocol.
• Provide high quality care and excellent client service.
• Record medical information in practice software.
• Dispense medication and perform diagnostic tasks as directed.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness and equipment.
