Job summary

Lovet is seeking a Veterinary Technician in Scottsdale, AZ to assist doctors with medical procedures, including surgery, and to provide high quality care for pets. The role emphasizes excellent client service and teamwork within a growing practice.

You will assist with anesthesia, patient monitoring, medical records, and routine procedures while maintaining compassionate, professional interactions with clients. This is an on-site position offering growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Certified veterinary technicians preferred.
• Associate degree in veterinary assisting preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor with medical procedures, including surgery, under direct supervision.
• Provide high quality care to all pets in the hospital’s care and maintain excellent client service.
• Assist in anesthesia care, pre-anesthetic protocol, and post-operative care under supervision.
• Communicate clearly with clients about their pet’s care and obtain consent for treatments.
