CityVet in Keller, Texas is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team. This role supports veterinarians by preparing patients for surgery, restraining animals safely, and assisting with diagnostics and patient care. A minimum of 1 year in veterinary settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of veterinary industry experience.
• Ability to restrain animals safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and medications.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinarians by preparing patients for surgery and monitoring post-op patients.
• Obtain samples (stool, blood, etc.) for testing and help interpret results.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian.
• Communicate with clients and provide care instructions under the plan of care.
• Support front desk team when needed and help maintain clinic efficiency.
