Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Renton is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER department. This full-time role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with shifts including Day, Swing, Overnight, and weekends.

We offer a starting LVT pay band of $26.75-$38.41/hr, a $3,000 sign-on bonus, and competitive shift differentials. You will triage, obtain patient history, place IVs and catheters, perform radiographs, monitor ventilator cases, and provide Level 2/3

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician required.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Emergency/critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Place IVs and advanced catheters (e.g., Jugular, Central lines, PICC).
• Perform Advanced Radiographs and monitor ventilator cases.
• Provide Level 2/3 inpatient care.
• Collaborate with team to deliver advanced medicine and mentor coworkers.

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Renton is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER department!

Shifts available:

Day, Swing, Overnight, Weekends required

LVT I Pay:

$26.75 - $38.41/Hr

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through Kahuna leveling system.

$3,000 Sign-on bonus for qualified candidates!

Shifts Available:

Swing or Overnight

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.

• Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

For example:

Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential

Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $8.00 Shift Differential

Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.50 Shift Differential

As a Veterinary Technician , you will:

• Triage and obtain patient history

Our Continuing Education Plan includes $500/year reimbursement for CVT and $750/year for VTS. The Continuing Education allowance can roll over up to $1,500 for CVT and VTS associates. Non-Credentialed, full-time Paraprofessionals are eligible for an annual CE stipend of $150. Full-time CVT associates also receive 8 hours of CE paid hours each year. Full-time VTS associates receive 12 hours of CE paid each year. Paid CE hours can be carried over year to year up to a maximum of 24 hours. Newly hired associates will receive a pro-rated amount of any CE benefit for which they are eligible.
