BluePearl Pet Hospital in Washington state seeks an Overnight Licensed Veterinary Technician to support the ER department. The role includes triage, CPR readiness, IVC placement, advanced radiographs, ventilator care, and Level 2–3 inpatient duties. Expect teamwork with skilled staff and mentorship opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a licensed veterinary technician in emergency/critical care.
• Ability to triage, monitor, and treat acutely ill patients.
• Proficiency in placing IV lines and performing advanced radiography.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Place IV catheters and central lines as needed.
• Perform advanced radiographs and monitor ventilator cases.
• Provide Level 2/3 inpatient care.
• Collaborate with team and mentor colleagues.

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an Overnight Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER department!

"This position is eligible for qualified candidates to receive up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus or relocation pay"

Schedules: Day or Swing or Overnight with weekend availability.

LVT I Pay: $25.63 - $36.81/Hr

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through Kahuna leveling system.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.

Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $8.00 Shift Differential

We are hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you enjoy patient care and working in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment, this is a full‑time position that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays.

As a Veterinary T echnician , you will:

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Advanced Radiographs
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Level 2 & 3 Inpatient Care
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.

Our Continuing Education Plan includes $500/year reimbursement for CVT and $750/year for VTS. The Continuing Education allowance can roll over up to $1,500 for CVT and VTS associates. Non‑Credentialed, full‑time Paraprofessionals are eligible for an annual CE stipend of $150. Full‑time CVT associates also receive 8 hours of CE paid hours each year. Full‑time VTS associates receive 12 hours of CE paid each year. Paid CE hours can be carried over year to year up to a maximum of 24 hours. Newly hired associates will receive a pro‑rated amount of any CE benefit for which they are eligible.
