Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our Overnight Emergency team in Scottsdale, AZ. You will provide compassionate, around-the-clock care for emergency patients, including monitoring, treatments, admissions, discharges, and ensuring continuity of care throughout the overnight shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred.
• Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Emergency veterinary experience strongly preferred.
• Has strong anesthesia skills (BP, ECG, SpO2, EtCO2) and can integrate clinical signs for early intervention.

Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our Overnight Emergency team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Scottsdale, AZ.

About You

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing compassionate, around-the-clock care for our emergency patients. Your life-changing work will range from hands‑on patient monitoring, treatments, and diagnostic support to assisting with admissions, discharges, and ensuring continuity of care throughout the overnight shift.

Your Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
• CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred
• Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends and holidays
• Emergency veterinary experience strongly preferred
• Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
• Possesses a positive work attitude
• Self‑motivated
• Excellent communication and organization skills
