Qualifications

• College or college-equivalent education required for CVT.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong telephone and computer skills.
• Team player willing to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, obtain vitals, and document in EMR.
• Assist veterinarian with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia.
• Perform patient restraint and handle laboratory samples.
• Administer medications and monitor anesthetized patients.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist with recovery and discharge.
• Maintain inventory and patient records; handle accounts receivable.
• Provide front desk backup and client education as needed.
• Keep hospital clean and functional per schedule.
