Thrive Pet Healthcare in Rockville, MD is seeking full-time Veterinary Technicians to join our team. You will provide essential hands-on support with dermatology treatments, lab testing, and patient intake, monitoring and discharge across visits.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, strong communication, and a willingness to grow within a nationwide network offering education and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
• CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred.
• Superior/advanced technical skills.
• Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, SpO2, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care).
• Possesses a positive work attitude.
• Self-motivated.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

About You
You’ll play a vital role in supporting patient care by providing comprehensive assistance throughout each visit. This impactful work includes hands-on support with dermatology treatments and laboratory testing, as well as essential services such as patient intake, monitoring and discharge.

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $24 – $26 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
