BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Critical Care Veterinary Technician!

Pay: $20 - $40 / hour
This pay band depends on experience and advancement through our CareerTrax leveling system.

Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts, Daytime Hours

We are hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you enjoy patient care and working in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment, apply today! This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

As an ICU/Critical Care Technician, you will:

1. Triage and obtain patient history
2. Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
3. Place IVCs and advanced catheters such as Jugular catheters, Central Lines, or PICC lines
4. Monitor and care for ventilator cases
5. Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
6. Mentor and train other team members
7. Feel gratification in nursing critically ill patients back to health and reuniting them with their pet parents
