BluePearl Pet Hospital in Brentwood, TN is hiring experienced Critical Care Veterinary Technicians. Qualified applicants will have a minimum 3 years of experience, and be an LVMT. Up to $1,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants.

Pay is $21.00 - $41.00 / hour with a rotating schedule including Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts. This role offers shift differentials for night and weekend hours, a mentorship culture, and opportunities to advance within a growing veterinary health network

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a veterinary technician.
• LVMT licensed technician required.
• Experience in critical care settings preferred.

• Work alongside boarded criticalists, technicians, and assistants to provide high quality, progressive medical care.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Place IVs and central lines, PICC lines, and arterial catheters as needed.
• Use advanced monitoring like arterial blood pressure, capnography, and telemetry.
• Assist in ICU with ventilated and other critically ill patients.
• Mentor and train teammates.
• Assist with department maintenance including stocking.

Pay: $21.00 - $41.00 / hour

Shift: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 7a-7p

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our leveling system.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.*Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

Weekday Night (Mon-Fri 6P to 8A): $3.00

Weekend Day (Sat-Sun 8A-6P): $3.00

Weekend Night (Sat-Sun 6P-8A): $4.50

As aCritical Care Technician, you will:

• Work incollaboration with ourboardedcriticalists, skilled technicians, and assistants to provide high quality, progressive medical care to your patients

• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR

• Place IVC’s and advanced catheters like central lines, PICC lines,and arterial catheters.

• Use advanced monitoring like direct arterial blood pressure, capnography, and continuous telemetry

• Assisting in the ICU, including monitor and care forpatients receiving mechanical ventilation and other critical patients

• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.

• Assisting with maintenance in the department including stocking
