The ideal candidate will have a college education as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician, at least one year of experience, and strong communication skills to support our patients and their owners. This position includes both technical duties and customer care responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications
Must have at least 1-year previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or working in a veterinary practice.
Must be compassionate and sympathetic and be able to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor during emotional and stressful situations.
Responsibilities
Greet clients and patients, record patient history and vital signs.
Assist veterinarian with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia.
Prepare patients for surgical procedures and monitor recovery.
Communicate with clients and relay test results.
Participate in training of new staff members.
Skills
