Veterinary Technician - Community Veterinary Clinic

The Arizona Humane Society is looking for talented Veterinary Technicians to join our Marge Wright Community Veterinary Clinic located at our Sunnyslope Campus. The schedule will be 4/10 hour days, from 7am-6pm. We have shifts available Mondays through Saturdays. As a community medicine veterinary technician, you will help keep pets in their home with their families who love them by providing accessible, high-quality veterinary care to those who need it most.

You're a Great Fit If You Have

  • 2+ years of experience in a full service veterinary hospital
  • Strong skills in multi-tasking at a high volume, anesthesia, diagnostics, surgery preparation, client education, and managing exam rooms
  • A passion for helping people + animals

Work Environment / Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to hear above the sound of the animals.

There will be exposure to dust, heat, cold and temperature changes; occasional wet floors, and animal noises, odors and dander. Most time will be spent in a typical air conditioned and heated office environment.
