COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Our base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The starting base salary range for this position is listed below. Actual starting salary will depend on experience, skill set, education, performance, licenses/certifications, business needs, and other lawful factors.

Starting Base Annual Salary Range: $46,480 - $69,025

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role primarily supports SICK Services and Products across North America.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver excellent customer service by managing expectations effectively.
• Support various organizational programs.
• Build support structures and install SICK equipment using hand tools and basic construction knowledge.
• Make electrical connections of SICK equipment.
• Configure SICK products via laptop and software.
• Provide onsite commissioning and support for installed equipment.
• Monitor equipment operation, troubleshoot, diagnose, and replace as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Complete service reports, timecards, and travel expense documentation accurately and promptly.
• Attend required training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

• Two-year college degree, technical school, or equivalent experience required; four-year degree preferred.
• 0-3 years of field service experience.

Other Qualifications:

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 85%.
• Availability for alternative schedules, including weekends, nights, and on-call hours.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

POSITION SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Complete logistics automation training and product boot camp.
• Complete all assigned SICK training modules.
• Install, test, and commission specific scanner systems as specified.
• Proficiency in SOPAS and CLV setup software; ability to write basic evaluation conditions.
• Ability to interpret CAD designs, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately.
• Assemble scanner system frames.
• Work effectively with senior technicians in a team environment.
