Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years of age at hire.
• At least 1 year of veterinary industry experience.
• Ability to restrain animals safely and correctly.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and medications.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must stand, bend, walk, lift, carry and reach frequently.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinary Technician in preparing patients for procedures and restrain as needed.
• Coordinate with VT and front desk to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Record observations and treatment plans in patient files under supervision.
• Support Client Service Specialist team as needed.
