Springboro Veterinary Clinic is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant for a full-time position in our AAHA-accredited practice in Ohio. You will work with a five-doctor team providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including small animals and exotics.

Position Details

• Role: Experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant
• Status: Full‑time
• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
• Schedule: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM with a two‑hour lunch break from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM; every other Saturday from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Experience: Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience required

What You’ll Do

• Assist veterinarians with patient exams, treatments, and procedures
• Provide compassionate nursing care to a variety of small animal and exotic patients
• Safely handle and restrain patients
• Support surgical and orthopedic procedures
• Assist with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Collect and process laboratory samples
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
• Assist with radiographs and diagnostic procedures
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records
• Educate clients and clearly communicate veterinary recommendations
• Support behavioral and nutritional consultations as needed
• Monitor hospitalized patients and report changes in condition
• Collaborate with veterinarians and teammates to keep the hospital running smoothly
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
