Qualifications

Licensed veterinary technician in Rhode Island or eligible for licensure
VTNE knowledge and licensing reimbursement considered
Strong client communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
Support patient care through nursing, monitoring, and treatment assistance
Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical and dental procedures
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
Collect diagnostic samples and assist with laboratory testing
Educate clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and follow‑up recommendations
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
Provide compassionate care to patients from intake through discharge
Support daily hospital operations and collaborate with teammates to deliver exceptional care
