What You'll Do

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and procedures
• Provide compassionate nursing care from patient admission through discharge
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, laboratory sample collection, and diagnostics
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical and dental procedures
• Practice Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques whenever possible
• Anticipate doctors' needs to promote efficiency and teamwork
• Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate medical records while collaborating with the entire hospital team
