Job summary

Preston Animal Hospital in Morrisville, NC is seeking a part-time Veterinary Technician to support end-to-end pet care. The role includes outpatient treatments, performing lab work, and assisting with admitting and discharging patients in a busy clinic.

The position requires 1-2 years of clinical experience, and licensure is preferred but not required; AVMA-accredited program background is ideal. Mon-Fri 7:15am–6pm, with some Saturdays 8am-1pm.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting.
• License: veterinary technician licensure preferred but not required.
• Associates or Bachelors degree from AVMA-accredited program preferred; or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end care for patients undergoing outpatient treatments.
• Perform laboratory tests and processing of samples as needed.
• Assist with admitting and discharging patients to and from the hospital.
