Affordable Pet Hospital in Tampa, FL seeks an enthusiastic veterinary technician to join a team delivering high-quality medical and customer service to pets and their owners.

The position offers both full-time and part-time hours with open availability preferred; shifts include opening and closing, and Saturdays every week. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and PTO after probation.

• Previous experience with companion animals is required.

Responsibilities

• Client education and care
• Answering multiple phone lines
• Client care
• Assisting doctors in surgery
• General cleaning and pet care
• Running labs including fecal tests, blood work, heartworm tests, ear cytologies, urine tests
• Blood draws and placing catheters
• Knowledge of veterinary protocols and products
• Duties may include working in all areas of the hospital when needed

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and team-orientated person to add to our existing team to provide high quality veterinary medical services and customer service.

We are seeking employees able to work:

• Both full-time and part-time
• Opening and closing shifts
  • Business hours are 8 AM to 6 PM Mondays - Fridays, scheduled hours may vary
• This position requires a commitment to work on Saturdays
  • Business hours are 9 AM to 2 PM Saturdays, scheduled hours may vary
• Open availability preferred

Your duties as a veterinary technician would include, but not limited to:

• client education
