Qualifications

  • Experienced veterinary technician with practical skills in clinical settings.
  • Proficient in anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, catheter placement, and nursing care.
  • Experience with radiology, lab diagnostics, and dental procedures.
  • Strong client communication and service focus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and procedures.
  • Place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, and collect diagnostic samples.
  • Administer medications and monitor anesthesia as directed.
  • Provide perioperative nursing and patient care.
  • Obtain radiographs and manage medical records.
  • Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and procedures
  • Place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, and collect diagnostic samples
  • Administer medications, pre-anesthetic drugs, and treatments as directed
  • Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia patients
  • Provide surgical nursing and perioperative patient care
  • Perform dental prophylaxis and assist with dental procedures
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs
  • Monitor hospitalized patients and provide inpatient and outpatient nursing care
  • Process laboratory diagnostics and maintain accurate medical records
  • Educate clients regarding medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and discharge instructions
  • Assist compassionately with euthanasia procedures
  • Collaborate closely with doctors, CSRs, and teammates to provide exceptional patient care

  • Experience with radiology, laboratory diagnostics, and dental procedures
