Job summary

Coco-Park Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join a team dedicated to exceptional patient care and client service. The role involves handling and assisting in anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, and surgical support in a fast-paced practice.

We offer a four-day workweek with no weekends, nights, or holidays. Applicants should be licensed, experienced in treatment procedures, and committed to teamwork and client communication.

Qualifications

  • Licensed veterinary technician with relevant Florida credentials.
  • Experience in treatment room procedures, anesthesia, surgery and dentistry.
  • Strong clinical skills and client communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe patient handling, restraint, and diagnostic support.
  • Assist with vaccines, radiographs, anesthesia, surgery and dentistry.
  • Monitor anesthesia and assist with advanced procedures.
  • Document records clearly and communicate with clients and staff.

This role is ideal for a technician with strong experience in treatment room procedures, anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry. What Our Veterinary Technicians Do

  • Provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint
  • Support preventative care and vaccine appointments
  • Obtain diagnostic radiographs
  • Perform phlebotomy and collect diagnostic samples
  • Perform in-house laboratory testing
  • Assist with treatment room procedures
  • Participate in surgical and dental procedures
  • Assist with dental radiology and prophylaxis
  • Monitor patients under anesthesia
  • Assist veterinarians and the medical team with advanced procedures
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and staff
  • Document patient records and client interactions clearly and accurately
