Tiogue Veterinary Clinic in Coventry, RI is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate team. This full-time role involves assisting veterinarians, monitoring anesthesia, handling lab work, and educating clients on care plans.

• Role: Experienced Veterinary Technician
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience & licensure
• Schedule: Monday 12:45 pm - 5:15 pm, Tuesday & Thursday 7:45 am - 6:15 pm, Friday 7:45 am - 5:15 pm, 1 Saturday a month

What You’ll Do

• Assist veterinarians during exams and medical procedures
• Monitor anesthesia and support surgical procedures

• Educate pet owners on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

• Veterinary Technician certification/license preferred, but not required.
• Previous veterinary clinic experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of animal restraint, anesthesia monitoring, and laboratory procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
