Qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university.
• Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment.
• International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified and still be considered “full-time” by USCIS; reduced course load approved by OIS.

Responsibilities

• The Student Teaching Lab assistant provides continuous daily cleaning of the Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine (CCVM) Student Teaching Lab facilities, individual patient kennels, maintenance of equipment, laundry, and animal transportation.
• Provide care, restraint and handling of small animals (cats and dogs) within a veterinary teaching college.
