Job summary

OSU Rec Sports - Sport. Leadership. Wellness. is seeking a Student Teaching Lab assistant to perform daily cleaning of the CCVM teaching lab, kennels, and equipment, and to assist with laundry and animal transportation. The role includes caring for small animals (cats and dogs) in a teaching environment.

The position requires enrollment as a student and compliance with academic standing requirements, with potential scheduling flexibility depending on funding.

Qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university.
• Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment.
• International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified and still be considered “full-time” by USCIS; reduced course load approved by OIS.

• Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment

*International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered “full-time” by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). A reduced course load is approved by theOffice of International Services(OIS), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.

Working Conditions/Schedule:

Must be available to work during the hours of 7:30am-11:30am, Tuesday-
Friday. If funding permits, employment may be extended through the
upcoming school year.
