Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists Mansfield is hiring an experienced Veterinary Surgical Technician for our busy surgery team. The role supports advanced surgical procedures, ensures patient safety under anesthesia, and delivers perioperative nursing care.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment while maintaining high standards of patient care and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years veterinary technician experience (ER/ICU/surgery preferred).
• Licensure or credentialing as LVT/CVT/RVT preferred.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures and prep patients.
• Maintain anesthesia and monitor during procedures.
• Document records and ensure aseptic technique.
• Provide post-operative monitoring and nursing care.
• On-call availability may be required for weekends.
