MedVet is seeking a Surgery Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced team. You will assist with surgical prep, anesthesia support, radiographs, and post-operative care, while maintaining accurate medical records and communicating treatment plans to clients.

Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary technician in a clinical setting.
• Prior surgery experience is desired.
• Proficient in drug calculations, CRI calculations, unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Manage appointments, patient histories, records, invoicing, discharges.
• Assist with surgery prep, intubation, radiographs and post-operative care.
• Fill medications, enter charges, maintain records, schedule appointments.
• Create patient releases and discuss treatment plans and costs with clients.
