Job summary

Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Chattanooga, part of Innovetive Petcare, seeks a Board-Certified Surgeon or Residency-Trained Veterinarian to join a growing surgery service in Chattanooga, TN. The role combines clinical leadership with program development to expand our surgical capabilities.

Expect to manage a diverse caseload with access to advanced facilities (CT, ultrasound, ICU) and collaborate with oncology and emergency teams.

Qualifications

• DVM degree or equivalent and active Tennessee license (or able to obtain).
• Board-Certified in Veterinary Surgery or residency-trained and board-eligible.
• Passion for advanced, high-quality medicine and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Build and expand the surgical service with a diverse, complex caseload.
• Collaborate with emergency and specialty clinicians in a team setting.
• Mentor veterinarians and interns, promoting clinical excellence.
• Lead with sustainable scheduling and work-life balance.
