Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Chattanooga is seeking a Board-Certified Surgeon or Residency-Trained Veterinarian to join our surgery service within a collaborative emergency and specialty hospital.

Join a team with CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, ICU monitoring, and 24/7 care. We offer leadership opportunities, a large diverse caseload, and flexible scheduling for qualified candidates in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Tennessee veterinary license or transfer eligibility.
• Board certification (DACVS) or residency-trained and board-eligible in veterinary surgery.
• Passion for advanced, high-quality veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities

• Build and expand the surgery service.
• Lead with equity and leadership pathways for qualified candidates.
• Provide advanced surgical care with access to CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, ICU monitoring, and fully equipped suites.
• Collaborate with surgery and oncology specialists and the emergency team.
• Manage diverse soft tissue and orthopedic surgical cases with strong emergency support.
• Mentor emergency clinicians, interns, and other veterinarians.
• Offer flexible full-time and part-time scheduling.
