Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Chattanooga is seeking a Board-Certified Surgeon or Residency-Trained Veterinarian to join our surgery service within a collaborative emergency and specialty hospital.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Tennessee veterinary license or transfer eligibility.

Our ideal candidate:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
• DVM (or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary school
• Active veterinary license in Tennessee (or ability to obtain - we cover state licensure transfer fees)
• Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (DACVS) or residency-trained and board-eligible in veterinary surgery
• Passion for advanced, high-quality medicine
• Strong communicator with a professional, team-oriented approach
• Interest in mentorship, collaboration, and clinical excellence

• A 6,180-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility providing advanced emergency and specialty care
• A team of Specialists in Oncology and Surgery, and a cohesive group of nine (and counting) Emergency Clinicians
• A skilled team of Licensed Veterinary Technicians and support staff (4 to 1 Veterinary Technician to DVM Ratio)
